Starling Homes is a family owned
and operated Manufactured Housing Sales Center founded by Jimmy and
Faye Starling in 1969. The sales center is located on Hwy 70A in
Pine Level, NC. Over the 38 years of business, Starling Homes has received many awards for outstanding customer service and sales. In 2004, Starling Homes was selected by the North Carolina Manufactured Housing Institute (NCMHI) as the "Independent North Carolina Retailer of the Year." In July 2006, Jimmy Starling was named the NCMHI "Member of the Year." Starling Homes is a multiple winner of the Smithfield Herald's "Best of the Best" Reader's Choice Award as "The Best Place to Buy a Manufactured Home in Johnston County" of all the awards received, none are more important than the ones given by our customers. Fleetwood Homes does a follow-up survey after the new homeowner has moved in, and asks if they would, again, purchase from and/or recommend Starling Homes. This is called Fleetwood's "Circle of Excellence" Award. Starling Homes has won this award every year it has been offered - 16 Years and Counting. In 2005, Starling Homes became a licensed general contractor to better serve our customers. We specialize in Land/Home construction and now offer modular land/home as well. Starling Homes has seen a lot of changes since 1969. We've gone from 12' x 60' metal on metal single-wide mobile homes in a park to 2000 sq ft plus homes set on private land with deeds not titles.
